Chandler is Arizona's fourth-largest city and the home of the "Silicon Desert": Intel's Ocotillo campus employs thousands here, and more than 50 Fortune 1000 companies have offices along the Loop 101 corridor. All that tech energy funds one of the state's best-run suburbs, with excellent schools, lakeside and golf-course master plans like Ocotillo, and a walkable historic downtown that has become a dining and events destination.
The commute: The Loop 101 Price Road corridor is Chandler's employment spine, with downtown Phoenix roughly 25 minutes and Sky Harbor about 20 minutes north.
