About Angie

A whole career of being there for people.

I am Angie Rivers, a realtor with a passion for Arizona and a member of The Ralston Team at My Home Group. My commitment is simple: exceptional service, whether you are a first-time homebuyer, selling a property, or trading up.

I was accountable for results in the corporate world for years, and I learned that the best results come from putting people first. I treat my clients the same way: like family, with their best interests as the only goal that matters.

The origin story

The people business taught me everything about real estate

I've spent my whole career in the people business. For nearly 17 years at Starbucks, and in director and VP roles across major companies, I was accountable for results and responsible for the people enabling them: franchisees, internal teams, external partners. The formula was always the same: listen until you truly understand what each person needs, individualize how you lead, and leverage everyone's strengths to create a win-win. When every stakeholder succeeds, everything else follows.

So when a close friend asked if I'd ever considered real estate, it stopped me in my tracks. I'd already bought and sold 19 properties of my own. I knew the process, the numbers, and the emotions on both sides of the table. She told me buyers and sellers deserved an agent like me.

This year, I helped her purchase a home, her first in two decades. The review she wrote me said it better than I ever could, because it proved what I've believed my whole career: when you treat people like family and fight for their best interests, the wins take care of themselves.

“She is aggressive when she needs to be, but she is also incredibly personable, kind, and respectful. She knows how to communicate with people, negotiate without burning bridges, and advocate fiercely for her clients.”

Mission

My mission is simple: be an agent buyers and sellers can trust completely. I listen first, advocate fiercely, and stay in your corner from the first showing to long after the keys are in your hand.

How I work

Three rules I never break

Listen until you truly understand

Every client is different: the first-timer who is scared of the paperwork, the seller who has raised a family in one house, the relocator who has never seen Arizona. I listen until the real need is clear, then I tailor everything to it.

Individualize how you lead

There is no script that fits everyone. Some clients want every detail explained twice; some want decisive calls and quick answers. I adapt my style to yours from our first conversation.

Leverage strengths for a win-win

A deal only works when everyone succeeds: my buyer, the other agent, the lender, the title team. I negotiate without burning bridges, so the outcome is strong for my client and respected by everyone else at the table.

Why families keep calling me back

Move-ups come back when it is time to grow. First-time buyers come back when life changes: a new baby, a new job, a new city. My favorite calls are the ones that start with “you helped us before, can you do it again?”

  • Relentless follow-through. I stay on top of the lender, the title company, and every deadline so closings happen on time.

  • Market instincts. A past client in the mortgage industry called it a knack and a calling. I see value in up-and-coming areas before the crowd does.

  • A personal touch. From birthday closings to check-in calls a year later, you are not a transaction to me.
